Pink for the Cure !

These are the Pink Bracelets that I have made and am selling on Etsy. I am Fundraising for the Susan G Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure. This year in Phoenix, Arizona the Walk will be on November 12th through the 14th. Over a period of 3 days, walkers will travel 60 miles to raise awareness about breast cancer, and to raise lots of money. In the past, I have walked the Komen Race for the Cure. This year, I am not walking in the 3-Day Walk - but, I have friends who are walking. This year I am Fundraising. I have had breast cancer twice in the past 2 years, and am going through breast reconstruction. My prognosis is very good, and I'm doing quite well.

Please take a few minutes and look at my Pink Bracelets. If you're interested in buying one, go to my Etsy store (see link).

Pay it Forward

A Random act of kindness.......

Give it a try ...Often.  What could you do for someone else ?

As an Etsy shop owner I have a section in my store for PIF:
Pay it Forward.  In fact, many Etsy shops have PIF listings.
You offer an item for sale, and the buyer pays the listing fees
and the shipping. The items are usually something very nice,
and the recipiant gets them practically for free. In turn, they
pay the kindness forward and do something nice for some-
one else. Everyone has a better, brighter day. Hopefully the

good karma continues on and on. Give it a try sometime !

October is breast cancer awareness month. I have made
several Pink Bracelets that I am selling (on Etsy) to
raise money for the Susan G Komen 3-Day Walk for the
Cure. All proceeds from the sale of these bracelets will go
to Susan G Komen. The walk will take place here in Phoenix,
Arizona on November 12 through the 14th. Walkers will travel
60 miles in three days - every step will bring us closer to
ending breast cancer forever. Because everyone deserves a
lifetime!

Please take a few minutes and look at the pink bracelets that
I have made for this fundraiser.

Sunday, October 10, 2010  There were an estimated 30,000 people at the Phoenix Race for the Cure here in Arizona.  Seventy five percent of the money raised stays right here in Arizona to fund education, screening, and treatment programs. The other twenty five percent of the money raised will fund national research efforts. The 2010 event raised 2 million dollars.

To all who participated and raised money - and to my fellow "Survivor Sisters" I salute you ! You Rock!

October is breast cancer awareness month - The life you save may be your own!

I have made several Pink Bracelets that I am selling in my Etsy shop. Look for me, My Seller Name is Patidecaz. I am Fundraising for the Susan G Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure. Proceeds from the sales of my bracelets will go to this foundation. I am a breast cancer survivor. I've had breast cancer twice in the past 2 years, and am in the process of breast reconstruction. The statistics say that now, One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer - that number is just too high. Battling any type of cancer is horrible People just shouldn't have to go through all of this. We need a world without breast cancer, a world without any types of cancer - and lots more birthdays!

If you read this, and you get a chance, please check out my Etsy store and my Pink Bracelets. You can find me at http://patidecaz.etsy.com/
